Aasaman Nepal (ASN) with the vision of happy and healthy children is currently working in 16 districts of Nepal, irrespective of geographical location. Dedicated to children's education, health and rights, ASN works in various developmental themes; Health and nutrition, education, child protection, natural resource management, livelihood, and humanitarian response.

Details / requirements:

As leading NGO, Aasaman Nepal has been engaged in developing and implementing programs aimed to protection, promotion and fulfillment of child rights in Nepal. Since its inception in 1999, ASN has continuously been active in the development of children in terms of education, child rights, health and nutrition and livelihood.

ASN has been implementing “Enhancing children  safety and community resilience through integration of comprehensive school safety ( CSS)” with the financial aid of UNICEF in Dhanusha , Saptari  and Parsa districts from 2017 and currently looking for following experienced and dynamic team players for the second phase (2017-2018) of aforementioned project.

Position: Field Supervisor-7 (district base at Dhanusha-3, Saptari-3 & parsa-1)

Key Responsibilities: Overall responsible for the planning and implementation of the CSS- DRR Project interventions in the respected district. He/She will coordinate respective school, SMC, Child club, PTA, DRR focal school teachers to implement the project interventions. Ensure the timely accomplishment of project activities. Collect and documents best practices on DRR and reporting to supervisor.

Qualification and Experience Required

  • At least Bachelor Degree  in RD, social science or related discipline.
  • At least two years working experience in community development
  • Proven Report Writing  and Data analysis
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft windows.
