Stay At School Nepal (SSN) was established in 2017 as an NGO with education as its core thematic area. Our mission to create brighter futures through better education for the children of remote public school. SSN helps to build, operate and manage hostel facilities in public schools, creating educational hubs for communities. With our help, children stay at school longer, improving their chance to have a happy, fulfilled and prosperous life. Currently, SSN is supporting 5 public schools in the Solukhumbu district. SSN has more hostel projects in a pipeline which includes construction as well as multi-faceted program of ideas and activities designed to broaden and enrich the lives of underprivileged children.

Job Description:
Stay at School Nepal (SSN) works with Nepali communities to create brighter futures through better education. Working initially in lower Solukhumbu, SSN is developing inspiring boarding houses for senior students so that they can devote their full energies to their studies at a crucial time in their academic careers.
SSN is looking for a Field Officer to coordinate and support field level activities. He/she will work in the field communicating, supervising and controlling the construction and other projects of SSN in coordination with partner schools, communities, and local level government office.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Education/Social Science/Management or any other relevant field
- Excellent spoken and written English and Nepali with some understanding of local languages (preferred)
- Excellent MS Office skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Soft skills of research, facilitating community engagement, and educational attainment
- At least 1 year's experience in working with school related projects, Civil Society Organizations or donor funded projects
- Willingness to travel and work under strict deadline
