ADRA in Nepal works in livelihood, health, education and disaster risk management sectors. Currently, ADRA Nepal has been implementing its programs in 21 districts of the country.

ADRA works in more than 135 countries around the world and is working in Nepal since 1987 with its Health interventions, Economic Development and Livelihood, Education, and Disaster Risk Management activities. Currently ADRA Nepal is implementing UNFPP program in province 2, 5, and 7 with support from UNFPA/DFID. The goal of the program is to contribute to improving maternal health through increased uptake of FP services and strengthening health system. The duration of this program is from September 2018 to December 2020.

ADRA Nepal invites applications from qualified candidates for the following positions;

Family Planning Expert (Kathmandu based): One

•Qualification and Competencies: 

PhD/MPH/ or MBBS (preferred) with minimum 5 years of working experience in Public Health/ Family Planning in developmental sectors. Counseling/Quality Family Planning and administration abilities, leadership quality with high level of integrity.

Visiting Service Providers (Staff Nurse/Sr. ANM): One

•Qualification and Competencies:

PCL Nursing or ANM passed with Implant and IUCD training certified by NHTC, trained on Implant and IUCD insertion and removal, experience in providing FP services, a demonstrated ability in building and maintaining relationships with Health facility staff, HFOMC and health volunteers at community level, ability to work as a team player, and willingness to serve rural community.
