Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for

Consultancy Assignments on Urban Disaster Risk Reduction

DCA is a Danish International development and humanitarian non -profit organization working in over 40 countries in South Asia, South East Asia, Africa, Central America and Europe. It is a faith-based, non-missionary organization that works for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and is headquartered in Copenhagen. Our work in Nepal focuses on humanitarian response and disaster risk reduction, resilient livelihood and sustainable food security and active citizenship for accountable governance. 

This call for Expression of Interest (EoI) is to solicit consultancy services for different assignment as mentioned below for “PRAGATI – Promoting Resilient And sustainable urban Growth by Augmenting DRR capacity of Local Authorities Through active private sector Involvement” Project being implemented in two urban Municipalities; Changunarayan in Bhaktapur District and Shankharapur in Kathmandu District.Separate proposals should be submitted for each below assignment within 16th October 2017. 1. Baseline Survey for PRAGATI project – Urban Disaster Risk Reduction Project
2. Capacity assessment of Potential Investment by the Private Sectors on Emergency Response and Disaster Risk Reduction
3. Undertake 2015 Memories Initiatives- document damage and losses due to earthquake
4. Disaster Risk Sensitive Tourism Development Plan
