Position: Executive Chef (Residential)

Job Location: Kurintar, Chitwan

Offered Salary: NPR. 50,000 - 60,000 ( Plus Service Charge)

Other Specification

  • Ideally with a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Hospitality Management
  • Minimum 5 years work experience as Executive Chef or Executive Sous chef
  • Expertise in local cuisine, and handling of multiple outlets & banqueting a must
  • A friendly personality and a genuine desire to help and please others
  • The ability to think clearly and make quick decisions
  • Able to work effectively in stressful environment, effectively deal with guests and accept constructive criticism from supervisors
  • The ability to balance customer and business priorities
  • Energy and patience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, especially when dealing with speakers of other languages
  • Excellent work ethics

Job Description

  • Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
  • Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards
  • Estimate food requirements and food costs
  • Supervise kitchen staff’s activities
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairsPlanning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
  • Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs
  • Manage kitchen staff
  • Rectify arising problems or complaints
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
