EOI for Digital Mapping Partners

DCA is a Danish International development and humanitarian non -profit organization working in over 40 countries in South Asia, South East Asia, Africa, Central America and Europe. It is a faith-based, non-missionary organization that works for the poor, vulnerable and socially excluded communities and is headquartered in Copenhagen. Our work in Nepal focuses on humanitarian response and disaster risk reduction, resilient livelihood and sustainable food security and active citizenship for accountable governance. 

This call for Expression of Interest (EoI) is to solicit to solicit technical support service from qualified individuals or organization as Digital Mapping Partner for Urban Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Projects.  The mapping partner will guide digitization of appropriate VCA tools and will utilize technologies such as drones, satellite imageries, as part of fulfilling the project requirements. The project will be implemented in Changunarayan Municipality in Bhaktapur District and Shankharpur in Kathmandu District. The learning from these municipalities will be replicated in other locations in the country. The closing date for application is 15th June 2018. Only short-listed applicants will be contacted for interview. The short-listed applicant will be required to present their proposed methodology and previous similar experience.
