ADRA Nepal invites applications for conducting study on “Effectiveness of Sakshyam Yuwa intervention on FP uptake in Sarlahi and Arghakhachi districts of Nepal”.

Enumerators: Ten (Qualitative Data)

Duration: 42 days (baseline)

Working District: Sarlahi

Qualification and Competencies:

Bachelor's in Health Science (BPH/BN/BSc) or PCL Nursing with experience of conducting qualitative interview (Focused Group Discussion, In-depth interview and Key-informant interview). Good interpersonal communication skill in local language is required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Select appropriate participants as instructed by central research team in coordination with health facility, ward and municipality
  • Coordinate with supervisor in scheduling the FGD and conduct FGD
  • Coordinate with supervisor for selection of participants for IDI. IDI participants must be decided in consultation with health facility, ward and municipality to maintain the diversity and ensure generation of rich information
  • Schedule and conduct IDI.
  • Take notes and audio-record FGD/KII, transcribe FGD/Interviews and translate the transcript of FGD/Interviews. Transcription and translation must be completed on the same day of the FGD/IDI
  • Keep back up of the audio records on regular basis
  • Safely store and submit signed consent forms to supervisor
  • Report to respective Supervisor about the work progress

Enumerators: Ten (Quantitative Data)

Duration: 42 days (baseline)

Working District: Arghakhachi

Qualification and Competencies:

Bachelor's in Health Science (BPH/BN/BSc) or PCL Nursing and registered in Nepal Nursing Council. Good interpersonal communication skill in local language is required. The knowledge on tablet-based data collection is desirable.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Perform sampling according to the protocol provided
  • Collect data in field
  • Appropriately store and submit signed consent to the supervisor
  • Re-check data for completeness and accuracy
  • Send collected data to the server at the end of each day
  • Report to respective Supervisor on regular basis
  • Provide regular update to the MEOR on the status of the survey
