DevOps (Deployment/Build) Engineer

Job Specification

• Superior organization skills and ability to follow directions precisely.
• expertise in system engineering/administration in Linux/Windows and Web servers e.g. Apache, IIS
• Basic knowledge of Web Servers, DNS Servers, load balancer’s – Apache, Nginx will be a plus point
• Deep understanding of Networking Concepts – example – IP Gateways, TCP, CID, ARP, etc
• Experience with one or more cloud services like AWS, Azure etc.
• Experience in CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bamboo, Docker, Octopus Deploy etc.
• Experience with AWS technologies (e.g. CLI, Cloud Formation, EC2, S3, Dynamo DB etc.) is highly preferred.
• Experience in scripting (e.g. Python, JSON, YAML, shell scripting) and automation will be a plus point.
• Experience and good skill of databases including MySQL, Mongo, Elasticsearch preferred.
• Knowledge of with monitoring tools like New Relic and Quality management tools like SonarQube is a plus.
• Proficient with git and git workflows.

Job Description

• Administer development Continuous Integration process. Setup build plans, assist developers with failures and manage software configurations
• Implement Production Migrations (off-hours)
• Support developers with server troubleshooting and application errors due to environmental issues
• Monitor and respond to the Production server and application performance degradation
• Assist with Cloud environment setup and implementation plan

• Build, deploy and automate with CI/CD tools.
