Consultancy for Household Socio-Economic Study and Vulnerability Targeting BIHANI Project

DanChurchAid (DCA) – Danish international development and humanitarian non-profit organization calls for Expression of Interest (EoI) to solicit consultancy service from qualified consultant or organization to undertake the Household Socio-Economic Study and Vulnerability Targeting BIHANI Project. 

This assignment is part of the project funded by Mott Macdonald: “BIHANI -Building an Inclusive and dignified community by protecting Human rights, Augmenting Non-discrimination and promoting Integration of most vulnerable communities in Dhading District of Nepal”. It will contribute to the overall objective of Purnima project - five-year programme funded by UK Department for International Development (DFID) and managed by Mott MacDonald (MM). The project will contribute towards enhancing the quality of life of five most vulnerable categories of disaster-affected communities (Elderly, Single Women, People with Disability, Internally Displaced People, Poor & Food Insecure Households) through mainstreaming them into the Reconstruction efforts. The expected outcome of the project is that the “Vulnerable disaster-affected communities in selected three Palikas of Dhading District have improved and sustainable livelihood options and the Local Government (LG) demonstrate enhanced commitment towards increased access to resources and services for vulnerable groups”.

The closing date for submission of proposal is 18 January 2019.
