Consultancy for Endline Survey for PRAGATI – Urban Disaster Risk Reduction Project

DanChurchAid (DCA) – Danish international development and humanitarian non-profit organization calls for Expression of Interest (EoI) to solicit consultancy service from qualified consultant or organization to undertake the Endline Survey of “PRAGATI – Promoting Resilient And sustainable urban Growth by Augmenting DRR capacity of Local Authorities Through active private sector Involvement” Project in two urban Municipalities; Changunarayan in Bhaktapur District and Shankharapur in Kathmandu District.  

This assignment is aimed at assessing the progress made by the project towards achieving the project specific and expected results in both project municipalities. The project contributed to increase preparedness and response capacities of local authorities and communities collaborating with the private sector. Therefore the project had local authorities, private sector and local population as the major stakeholders, where local authorities steered the project implementation. The project worked closely with the private sector, identifying areas of collaboration and investment, building their disaster risk management capacity and preparing them for effective response. The strength of information technologies were also utilized for innovation on increasing efficiency in urban resilience. 

The closing date for submission of proposal is 18 December 2018.
