Business Development Officer

Technovate International Pvt. Ltd. was founded by a group of highly qualified professionals. It has mainly focused into import and sales of ICT products (mainly optical fiber products) in Nepal market. We are looking for a self-driven, motivated and result oriented professional for the position of “Business Development Officer.” Details of the same have been highlighted below; 

Essential Job Function:

• Identifying, qualifying, and securing business opportunities; coordinating business generation activities; developing customized targeted sales strategies.
• Building business relationships with current and potential clients.
• Creating and maintaining a list/database of prospect clients’ information.
• Make cold calls and visits to potential clients, understand the client’s requirement, and demonstrate the company’s product features.
• Plan and organize business development strategy and strive for achieving sales target assigned to him/her.
• Preparing business proposals and quotations.
• Collaborating with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting; maintaining short- and long-term business development plans.

Essential Job Specification:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree holder in Management (Preferable Master’s Degree with specialization in Sales & Marketing).
• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Past experience in selling Optical Fiber Products and/or working in ISPs and/or dealing with telecom tenders will be an added advantage.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers.
• Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel and Power-Point.
• Integrity, dependability, loyalty, taking ownership and ability to collaborate with a team.
• Willing to travel outside Kathmandu valley.
• Having two-wheeler/license will have advantage.
