Job Location: Kathmandu

We are looking for Assistant Manager who should be responsible for risk management and compliance. 

Job Description:

  • Ensure and maintain compliance with applicable banking and securities laws, KYC/AML/CFT, regulations, and internal guidelines 
  • Handles corporate governance involving external risk reporting to stakeholders
  • Data Analysis and Reporting to authorities
  • Conduct training sessions for the employees on compliance related issues
  • Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses
  • Plans, designs and implements an overall risk management and compliance process for the organization
  • Draft and revise company policies and agreements, and advice concern departments accordingly
  • Overview directives, circulars, rules issued by authorities and take action accordingly or advice concern department to take action accordingly
  • Conducts audits of policy and compliance to standards, including liaison with internal and external auditors

Job Specification:

  • Semi qualified CA/ACCA
  • Sound Knowledge of law, KYC/AML/CFT, regulations, and NRB policies and directive relating to PSP
  • Sound knowledge about Microsoft office
  • Analytical skills and a good eye for detail
  • Appropriate handling of sensitive information
  • With strong background in finance, economics, law, risk management, statistics
  • Team player with the ability to work with multiple parties
