Introduction:  

TRACE Pvt. Ltd established in 2008, as Private limited company. The company is registered under Nepal Government, Company Registration Act and has been actively involving in providing the skills training for unemployed youth of Nepal since its establishment. It have more than 12 years of experience in the sector of Vocational skill training, community mobilization, enterprising youths and Disaster Risk Reduction / Response. As of now TRACE has supported around 16,000 people (10478 in last five years) for their training, out of total about 45% are women, 74% are disadvantaged and ~90% of them are at employment (self or wage) on the basis of post training verification. It has extended its services more than 45 districts. Apart from the skills training, the main expertise of TRACE are labor market assessment, training modeling, technical assistance for the development of curricula and manuals, conduction of ‘Training of Trainers (TOT)’ as well as post-training support to the individual graduates like coaching and counseling for the gainful employment or entrepreneurship. TRACE Pvt. Ltd implementing Skills and rewarding Employment project with financial support from European Union/ British Council- Dakchayata. TRACE needs dedicated/qualified Finance Manager to oversee the project financial and Administrative activities. 

Purpose of the position:

The Finance Manager is responsible for project accounting, financial management and reporting, oversee procurement and general administrative support for the program. This role will work in coordination/ collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure that the project team has the administrative and financial support required to deliver on the Terms of Reference (ToR) and approved work plans.

Major Responsibilities: 

  • Manage financial transactions of the projects and organizational. 
  • Overall budget planning and monitoring of TRACE Pvt. Ltd.  
  • Prepare monthly financial report and submit to Managing director. 
  • Manage Administrative functions of the whole organization, 
  • Monthly organizational VAT update in IRD website and keep record in office. 
  • Manage daily basis financial system of the organization, check the document and vouchers, 
  • Assist to conduct internal & external audit of the organization, 
  • Monitor & supervise the finance & admin staffs of organization and provide them support,
  • Assists to Project manager, officers in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project. 
  • Help procurement team as per need. 
  • Provide financial management orientation to newly hired staff, 
  • Share the budget vs. expenditure of the whole organization in board meeting, 
  • Keep close coordination with program officers, program coordinator of the projects, 
  • Calculate annual tax of staffs as per government rule and deposit in to IRD, 
  • This position holder will be guided by the TRACE constitution, Personal policy and financial policy of TRACE to perform you assigned duties. 
  • Prepare finance related documents of TRACE as and when required and involve in any other organizational related works assigned by supervisor. 

Experience and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance and Management with at least five years of working experience. Master's will be preferable.
  • Extensive Experience in managing  TAX/ VAT as Nepal Government and can work on the IRD website.
