It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

In partnership with World Vision International Nepal (WVIN), KIRDARC Nepal is going to implement the Integrated Protection and Community Engagement and Integrated Nutrition and Livelihood project(s)in Jumladistrict. Therefore, now KIRDARC Nepal is seeking suitable qualified, dynamic and motivated candidates for the following positions for smooth implementation of these projects.

1Field Program Manager (1 Nos)
  • Bachelor Degree in management, social science or business studies with minimum 7 years working experience in managing multiple projects with diverse teamOR
  • Master degree in the relevant field, management, OR social science or business studies preferred with minimum of 4 years of work experience in managing multiple projects with diverse team (especially livelihood and market system development).
  • Demonstrated depth of experience and effectiveness preferably in an NGO context in working with community/grassroots people and organizations, specially focus on Most Vulnerable Children and communities.
  • Extensive experience and recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building, Project Management and organizational development for staffs, communities and government stakeholders.
  • Ability to integrate multiple projects and cross cutting themes to contribute to strategic objectives and child wellbeing outcomes.
  • Conduct periodic staff performance appraisals against the set performance objectives contributing to programme deliverables with proper performance management system in place.
  • Have a good technical knowledge and experience on sector, data and information management.
  • Proven project management and financial management experience
  • Diverse team management to yield quality results within the stipulated time period
  • Presentation skill to highlight on the areas of success and failures with qualitative and quantitative data and relevant information

2Field Finance Coordinator (1- Nos)
  • Bachelor Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent or Master Degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent, preferred. At least 3 years of working experience in NGO sectors.
  • Previous work experience in an NGO environment and in basic HR functions/administration skills is an advantage.
  • Strong computer literacy, and proven experience of computerized accounting program (FAMAS) packages and using Excel Spreadsheets (MS Office Package). 
  • Should have knowledge of General Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Knowledge of tax and compliance
  • Practical knowledge of project budgeting, accounting & reporting
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant field

3Program officer - Livelihood (1-Nos)
  • Bachelor Degree of Commerce, Business Studies or Equivalent or Master Degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent, preferred. At least 3 years of working experience in NGO sectors.
  • Provide management to NRL project and monitor performance of project team in implementation of project ensuring projects are delivered on scope, on time and on budget as per the agreements.
  • Identify, assess, and communicate risks associated with the implementation of project, and development of mitigation measures.
  • With guidance from Field Specialist-A&ED ensure appropriate analysis and project results, including sharing of results and continuous improvements of project design and implementation.
  • In coordination with Field sector lead- NRL relationships and engagement with government line agencies, other INGOs/NGOs, research institutions and private sector at local and district levels in alignment with project strategy/plan.

4SCM & Admin Officer (1- Nos)
  • Bachelor’s degree in business/management or other relevant field.
  • Ensure major/recurring procurements are under strategic sourcing initiative.
  • Propose innovative solutions to increase efficacy through evidence based analysis for consumption by financial and operational dimensions, including price, quality and service.
  • Support in improving spending behavior, process, utilization, and optimize total throughput yield.
  • Review and process Purchase Requisition (PR) in Supply Chain Automation and Integration (SCAI) platform/ authorized systems. 
  • At least 3 years of experience in relevant field.

5MEAL Officer (1-Nos.)
  • Bachelor’s degree in social science or development studies or in the field relevant to M&E with at least 2 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation and accountability sector. 
  • Support to update beneficiaries information regularly in commcare system (developed by WVIN) to track all project beneficiaries 
  • Maintain project database including relevant documents and reports  
  • Collect and collate secondary data from various sources in working districts and municipalities for the purpose of assessments, baseline survey and evaluations- as per requirement of WVIN. 
  • At least 2 years of experience working with I/NGO in the field of monitoring, evaluation and accountability sector

6Sponsorship Quality Control Officer (1- Nos.)
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant field with at least 2 years’ experience in Development Sector
  • Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices and knowledge on child rights. – Essential  
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Data Management & Analysis.
  • Participation/Support/Benefits entries: Co-ordinate with Commcare entry focal person of District for similarity and uniform numbers in both Horizon and Commcare
  • Ensure that all the Sponsorship 2.0 products (photos and Videos) have met latest sponsorship rich media standards and quality.
  • Good translation skills both English to Nepali and vice versa
  • Computer and Technology literacy; Good computer skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint

7Field officer - Livelihood (1- Nos.)
  • Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science or relevant discipline with three to five year of experience in related project. 
  • Knowledge on project model especially on Agriculture (CA, Agri Dev. NSA), NRM and DRR (FMNR, CBDRM), Market Development (LVCD), Alternative livelihood (TVET, SYIB, BF))
  • Good understanding on operation issues like timely and quality delivery of services, good planning and monitoring skill.
  • Good ability in report writing skills for developing the periodic report like monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual
  • Good planning skills for project staffs development and growth.
  • Good Regularly review-monitoring data to ensure programme implementation activities and participants’ progress are on track and report the progress.
  • Facilitate & support for economic empowerment of most vulnerable especially women.
