Association for Rural Social Welfare Nepal (ARSOW Nepal), the leading NGO based in Kavre district working in the various sectors i.e. WASH, Public Health, Livelihood, Social Mobilization, and Disaster Risk Management. Currently, ARSOW Nepal is seeking qualified, result oriented and self motivated Nepali citizens for the following positions under its Integrated Comprehensive Recovery Program for Thangpal Valley Sindhupalchok ’’project in partnership with Triangle Génération Humanitaire. The project focuses its intervention on WASH, Livelihood and climate change, in Thanpaldhap, Gunsa, Thanpalkot and Bhotang Wards of Sindhupalchok district. Candidates meeting mentioned criteria are highly encouraged to apply for the positions.

1.   Facilitation Manager: 1 (Based in Central office Banepa, Frequently visit in field office and program area)

Qualifications/experience required         

  • Master degree in Rural Development, Management, Sociology or other relevant subject,
  • At least 10 years working experience in WASH, Livelihood, Social Mobilization, & development sector with at least 5 years working experience in managerial positions.
  • Have a past experience of coordination with donors and government agencies.
  • Substantial knowledge on WASH, Livelihood, Climate change and other development sector.
  • Good interpersonal communication, facilitation, presentation & coordination skills with excellent English language,
  • Willingness to work remote areas of the district.
  • Familiarity with government procedures and practices on related subjects.
  • Prior experience and understanding of humanitarian response and recovery.
  • Able to ride two wheeler with license. 

Major Responsibilities

  • Overall supporting role for planning, implementation and monitoring of the project. responsible for Planning, Monitoring of the project,
  • Supervision & Monitoring of staff sand their activities.
  • Coordination with Donors Weekly based.
  • Guidance to colleagues on their reporting duties and remind them of their responsibilities,
  • Coordination and liaison with concern district, regional and central level stakeholders and partners to ensure progress.
  • Coordinate between ARSOW colleagues and between ARSOW and other agencies to make sure program work is done on time.
  • Facilitate, coordinate and organize different internal and external orientations, meetings, workshops,
  • Ensure report on time form the field and to the concern partners organizations,
  • Field visit as per the need to ensure the deadline and quality of delivery of services.
  • Establish strong communication within the organization as well as with external organizations and stakeholders.
  • Explore the possible funding agency and develop link for the partnership,
  • Other work assign by Chairperson, executive board of ARSOW Nepal and TGH Nepal.

2. Program Coordinator: 1 (Based in Field Office, Panchpokhari Thangpal Rural Municipality-4, Thangpalkot, Sindhupalchok)

Qualifications/experience required

  • Bachelor degree in Rural Development, Management, Sociology, Agriculture or other relevant subject,
  • At least 7 years working experience in WASH, Livelihood, Climate change, Social Mobilization, & development sector with at least 3 years working experience in managerial positions.
  • Substantial knowledge on WASH, Livelihood and other development sector.
  • Good interpersonal communication, facilitation, presentation & coordination skills with excellent English language,
  • Willingness to work remote areas of the district.
  • Familiarity with government procedures and practices on related subjects.
  • Prior experience and understanding of humanitarian response and recovery.
  • Able to ride two wheeler with license.

Major Responsibilities

  • Regular supervision of field office to backstop field staff and to ensure work level coordination with local partner and stakeholders Supervision of the field staff and activities,
  • Prepare and compile monthly, quarterly, annual and other periodic reports as per the need of program and organization.
  • Coordinate and liaison with concern local stakeholders and partners to ensure progress,
  • Facilitate, coordinate and organize different meetings, workshops periodically,
  • Ensure report on time form the field and concern partners,
  • Frequent field visit to ensure the deadline and quality of delivery of the services,
  • Perform any other task assigned by Program Manager, Chairperson and Executive Board.
  • Coordinate regular meeting in the field office prepare minute and forward to concern unit and person,
  • Support management to explore the possible funding agency and develop link,
  • Responsible for organizing field level Public Hearing, Social Audits.
  • Establish strong communication within the team as well as with external organization and stakeholders. Other work assign by executive board, central office Banepa of ARSOW Nepal and TGH Nepal.
