BYC Baglung is a non-governmental organization established in 1985 by a group of young, energetic, like-minded youths from Kathekhola Rural Municipality -02, Bhimapokhara with a motive of giving back to the community. It is also registered to the Nepal Government (13/2042) and Social Welfare Council (240/2046). Initially, it was established as local youth club, but today BYC operates as a national level NGO carrying a wide range of programs, mainly focused in Gandaki province. Since its inception BYC, Baglung has worked for development, ecology/environment balance and promotion, and human rights protection among the poorest and vulnerable section of the society, good governance through accountability and transparency. 

BYC, Baglung implements with VSO supported program to implement Inclusive Education Project in Baglung - SIKAI. The main objective of the project is to support marginalized children improve learning outcomes and successfully transition from grade 5 to 6 in school education. 

One of the major activities under the SIKAI project is to establish “Reading Corners in Schools,” with the purpose of inculcating reading habits in students providing reading/reference books and learning materials. To do this, BYC, Baglung will be running a tender process with the intention of awarding a contract for the provision of supplying books and is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) from suitably experienced organizations. 

The appointed vendor will be required to supply books as below:

Expressions of interest: Organizations which have experience and expertise in this area should send their Expression of Interest (EOI) containing a contact name, company name, company address, phone and email address along with evidence of valid company/firm registration certificate, VAT/PAN registration certificate, and latest tax clearance certificate of FY 2077/78 or tax clearance certificate of FY 2076/77 and tax extension letter of the FY 2077/78. Please send us the above required documents in sealed envelope to the address below on or before 7th February 2022 by COB.
