Expression of Interest (EOI) for Final Evaluation and Endline Study of the project “Addressing Gender-Based Violence within Schools and Promoting Quality Education”

ChildFund Japan Nepal Office (CFJ NO) is a child-focused international development organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of children through programs grounded in partnership and the spirit of harmonious coexistence.

ChildFund Japan Nepal Office is seeking a qualified and experienced research firm to carry out the Final Evaluation and Endline Study of the project “Addressing Gender-Based Violence within Schools and Promoting Quality Education” implemented across 12 schools in Sunkoshi Rural Municipality, Sindhupalchowk. The assignment includes assessing the project’s relevance, coherence, effectiveness, efficiency, impact, and sustainability based on OECD-DAC criteria, while conducting an endline survey to measure progress against key log frame indicators related to gender equality, SRGBV prevention, child protection mechanisms, teacher and parent practices, and safe/child-friendly learning environments. The consultant will be responsible for leading quantitative surveys, qualitative interviews, and FGDs, reviewing relevant documents, and generating evidence comparing baseline, midline, and endline results.

Applicants must demonstrate proven expertise and strong experience in mixed-method evaluations, preferably in the areas of education, child protection, GBV/SRGBV, and GESI-sensitive programing. Experience working with rural communities, children, and marginalized groups is essential. The final deliverables include an inception report, validated tools, fieldwork plan, clean datasets, and a comprehensive final evaluation/endline report with clear findings, conclusions, and forward-looking recommendations.
