A consortium led by Community Development Society (CDS) together with Community Human Resource Development Program (CHURDEP) and Sirijansheel Youth Society (SYS) is implementing a three years project (January 2019 - December 2021) named "Preservation of Biodiversity through Restoration of Eco-system and Revitalization of the River(EPP)" in Manthali and Ramechhap Municipalities of Ramechhap district funded by Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and terre des hommes Germany. The objectives of the project are to participate of local communities in maintaining the biodiversity of river ecosystems in Manthali and Ramechhap for safer communities and improving livelihood and to engage the communities and CBOs at local to national level to improve the protection and sustainable management of ecosystems. So the consortium is looking for innovative, self-motivated and dynamic candidate for the following position

  • Carry out need assessment and feasibility study of infrastructures and survey, design and estimation. 
  • Supervision and monitoring of construction works and ensuring quality of work standard maintained by donor.
  • Provide technical support to effectively implementation of the schemes at field based on approved plan and budget.
  • Ensuring the construction safety of manpower.
  • Assist and assure the quality of construction materials during procurement and delivery.
  • Management of manpower, materials and tools/equipment for effective construction work.
  • Establish strong coordination and collaboration with local stakeholders and government bodies.
  • Prepare work completion report and payment sheet as per technical measurement. 
  • Counselling, coaching, monitoring and evaluation of sub-ordinates.
  • Planning, execution and regular reporting. 
  • Perform any othertask assigned located by Supervisor.
  • Minimum Bachelor in Civil Engineering with 3 years relevant work experience.
  • Working experiences preferably in community infrastructures (small irrigation, rainwater harvesting, trail, pond construction etc.) as well as bio-engineering.
  • Knowledge and skills of handling AUTO software. 
  • Riding motorbike is an additional advantage.
