KIRDARC is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. It works with a vision of ‘a just and prosperous society’. 

KIRDARC has been implementing a project “Health Rights Improvement Project for Adolescent Girls and Vulnerable Communities” in Bajura district in partnership with Good Neighbors International. In this regard, KIRDARC invites applications from suitable Nepali candidates for the following position:

Education Advocacy Officer - 1 (Based in Kathmandu with frequent travels to the working area)

Key Responsibilities: This position will be responsible to implement the project in partnership with Good Neighbors International to produce quality results working in close coordination with funding partners, CSOs, government line agencies and other sectoral stakeholders. S/he will be responsible to lead role for the implementation of the project with ensuring the quality of the project interventions in line with work plan. Required Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor in Public health or Anthropology/ Sociology or management or related discipline with at least three years’ thematic experience. Master’s degree preferable with one-year experience. Experience in advocacy, MHM or related promotional materials development, implementation and evaluation of SRHR (Sexual and Reproductive Health Right). S/he must demonstrate excellent leadership, team management, result based management skills with proven experience of working in participatory community development approaches.
