Nepal Shipping Lines is the Pioneer Shipping Line of Nepal with its headquarter situated in the capital city, Kathmandu. Nepal Shipping Lines, the first-ever Nepali shipping company to operate a non-feeder-based direct container liner service. Operating as an NVOCC, we provide international shipping services from all major ports/hubs worldwide. We provide end-to-end customer service in all forms of multi-modal transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Duties
- 1. Monitor, track, and supervise ongoing operations and shipments
- 2. Make timely compliance with the operational documentation with proper systematic follow-up for ongoing shipments
- 3. Review ECR reports and coordinate with overseas branch offices for smooth operations and coordination
- 4. Liaison with Kolkata/Vizag ports, Birgunj office, clearing agents, transport companies & other departments of HQ for smooth operation & timely delivery of shipments.
- 5. Educate clients and parties in the operations completion process and delivery
Documentation
- 6. Ensure the GHQ have well-maintained files of all shipments and related documentation
- 7. Timely supply of documents in internal departments for payments and clearing (domestics and overseas communication)
- 8. Verify all filings and shipments compliance in the unit
- 9. Ensure secure and detailed database maintenance for present and future requirements
- 10. Handling of documentation for Export shipments such as preparing B/L, manifests etc.11. Handling freight forwarding documentation as per the nature
- 12. Monitor and supervise all the ongoing shipment in the documentation team
- 13. Update; disseminate and retrieve information as to when required
General Duties:
- 14. Attend customers and parties for mitigating their queries
- 15. Provide timely information to outside parties and branches and internal departments as per the progress of the shipment and timely delivery
- 16. Coordinate with overseas agent for operations handling and support
- 17. Collect information timely from overseas agents/branches
- 18. Handle legal issues
- 19. Manage team
- 20. Other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Management or relative studies
- At least 5 years of working experience in logistic
and transportation and/or relative industry
- Learner and Research Skills
- Team Player Skills
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Mentorship shills
- Efficient Customer handling and professionalism
- Strong knowledge of the Shipping industry, Shipping
terms and conditions
- Problem Solver; Initiative; Proactive
- Willing to travel outside work station location.
