Call for Proposals: Production of Animated Video on Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) and Its Processes in Nepal

WWF Nepal

Details / requirements:

Free, Prior and Informed Consent (FPIC) is a process that ensures Indigenous Peoples’ communities provide their collective consent freely and independently after receiving complete and timely information on programs, risks, and benefits that may affect their lives and livelihoods. To make the FPIC process more accessible and easily understood at the community level, WWF Nepal, in collaboration with the National Foundation for Development of Indigenous Nationalities (NFDIN), seeks to develop an animated video illustrating the FPIC steps based on the National Implementation Guidelines launched in 2023.

WWF Nepal is seeking a qualified consultant to produce a 4–5-minute animated video in Nepali that visually explains the FPIC process in a clear and culturally appropriate manner. The video will include music, voiceover, and subtitles and will serve as a communication tool to promote awareness and understanding of FPIC among Indigenous communities.

Interested VAT-registered consultants or firms in Nepal are invited to submit their technical and financial proposals (in NPR) to proposals-communications@wwfnepal.org with the subject line “PROPOSAL-FPIC Animated Video” by 5 p.m. NST, 23rd November 2025.
