KIRDARC is an NGO dedicated to uphold the rights of marginalized and excluded communities through its interventions on Human Rights, Democracy and Good Governance with especial focus on building capacities of right holders, duty bearers and civil society contributing to inclusive growth and fair development. KIRDARC has been implementing “Strengthening Affirmative Actions to End Hunger and Amplifying Climate Adaptive Agriculture and Livelihood (SAHACAAL)” in Palata Rural Municipality of Kalikotdistrictin financial support of Mission East. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from suitable Nepali candidates for the following full time position:

Required Position: Business Development Officer (Micro-Enterprise development) - 1 (based in Palata RM, Kalikot)

Key Responsibilities:

• Business Development Officer (Micro-Enterprise development)will manage a project related to livelihood development through micro-enterprise related interventions in the project area.
• The position holder should work in close coordination with funding partners, CSOs, government line agencies and other sector stakeholders.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Agriculture Science with at least two years of experience in tracking and implementation of development project especially micro-/small enterprise development for sustainable livelihood promotion.
• The ideal candidate for the position should have very good skills and knowledge in documentation and reporting in English and Nepali.
• Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and candidate should have pro-active, innovative, willingness and committed to stay and travel in the remote areas to work with poor and vulnerable communities.
• The candidates must demonstrate excellent leadership, team management, result based management skills with proven experience of working in participatory community development approaches.
