What are we looking for?
A high impact and experienced member within the team, the candidate will be responsible for ensuring that only high quality features make their way into our customers hands. This position will be working directly with product owners, architects, software engineers and QA to design and deploy highly scalable APIs as we continue our progress on breaking down a monolith system.
Technical Skills Requirement
6+ years of Experience in building and maintaining UI Test Automation Frameworks using Selenium, Protractor
BS in Computer Science or equivalence to Computer engineering
Experience with Javascript programming language
Implementing testing procedures and overseeing the QA process.
Troubleshooting quality issues and modifying test procedures.
Experience in Jmeter, TestRail
Expertise in the software development lifecycle
Good exposure and understanding of testing E-commerce sites
Experience with GIT
Experience working in Scrum work environment
Strong analytical skills
Team player with excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct rigorous testing throughout the development process, identifying potential issues and reporting them back to development teams.
Develop and implement fixes and improvements, working with the team to deploy updates and resolve issues that arise during the QA process.
Develop QA processes and procedures by preparing documents that outline testing processes in order to ensure that testing captures the software or system’s functional requirements, and enact test plans for new software products or updates to existing systems.
Identify bugs and issues and coordinate it with Development Teams
Maintain detailed documentation related to the software with vital information about software performance and issues and ensure that systems are adequately tested and that all use cases are accounted for.
Develop, enact, and manage Testing Schedules ensuring that the QA team meets expectations and deadlines.
