Educational Description
  • Bachelor’s degree in social science, rural development, engineering, or a related discipline;

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office package, email and internet.

  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in community mobilization or development project and in the field of disaster risk reduction, infrastructure support, education, child protection, or development;

Job Description

  • Plan and implement field level activities of project based on approved plan and budget.

  • Coordinate and implement field level activities including school building construction.

  • Assist to conduct capacity building training, Disaster Risk Reduction activities and support to develop school safety plan.

  • Contribute to produce accurate and timely reporting to donors, on financial issues and, with the support of other project staff, on project activities;

  • Provides regular updates and reports on progress in areas or responsibility;

  • Ensure the participation and involvement of relevant stakeholders in project activities so that the process is inclusive, participatory and transparent;

  • Organize and conduct coordination meetings with other organization working in the area;

  • Close coordination with field engineer and facilitates to mitigate community level dispute if any.

  • Regular in contact with school and coordinate with school and local government bodies.

  • Keeps himself/herself informed about project activities and the context in which the project operates;

  • Performs any other tasks assigned by Project Coordinator.
