The Role

US Based company is seeking an experienced software developer. The ideal candidate is excited to do whatever it takes to make this new product initiative successful and seeking an opportunity to grow with the team.

This is an early stage initiative with a fast paced, highly collaborative startup environment. You will have significant influence to drive the system architecture, and spearhead the best practices that enable a quality product.

The ideal candidate is clearly passionate about delivering experiences that delight customers and creating solutions that are robust. Creating reliable, scalable, and high performance products requires exceptional technical expertise, a sound understanding of the fundamentals of Computer Science, and practical experience building large-scale distributed systems.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent
• 6+ years experince in Cloud Technologies; AWS/Google Cloud/ Azure cloud technologies and API stack. (for Cloud Tech Lead)
• Or, + years experience in Machine Learning and 6+ years overall experience as a data scientist
• Experience in object oriented design
• Experience with the tools of the trade, including a variety of modern programming languages (Python, Perl, PHP, JavaScript) and open-source technologies (Linux, Spring, JQuery, etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Nice to have experience with Network Performance Monitoring products and standards.
• Experience with running customer facing, cloud-based, production software system
• Development experience defining, developing and maintaining REST based interfaces
• Experience with both backend and front end development (full stack engineering)

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of key product features.
• Work along with QA to deliver a fully tested quality product
• Responsible for delivering clean, quality code that meets defined standards.
