Wordpress/ Web Developer

Our company needs a seasoned web developer with at least 4 years' hands-on experience coding world-class programs. We are a web development company and we seek someone who shares our passion and enthusiam for developing cutting-edge websites and APPs and being among the best in what we do. 

Currently, we are focusing significantly on Wordpress and so we would like the candidate to have extensive knowledge of the platform. We develop custom themes and plugins and so you will need vast knowledge of wordpress codex, theme/plugin development and associated technologies. 

We understand that a professional programmer will have no problem learning Wordpress even with very little prior experience, and so, these are the skills & experience we are looking for: 

Expert-level knowledge of Wordpress platform

Computer Science Degree (Preferable)

4+ years demonstrated programming/development experience.  

Expert-level skills in HTML/CSS and W3C validation

Exert-level knowldge of jQuery/Javascript/Ajax and its implementation.

Extensive PHP OOP coding skills

Knowledge of XML, JSON and REST (Web Services) API Development.  

Beside the technical competency, we also evaluate candidate's professional qualities. We need someone who understands the importance of time and commits to projects and completes them within the deadline. We prefer a professional who does not need constant guidance and can deliver projects under minimum supervison. We are looking for developers who have ambitions and wants to excel and contribute in the growth of our company. 

This postion may entail working and communicating with international clients, therefore, someone with good spoken and written English skill may get preference.
