WASH Officer

GEYC Nepal a leading NGO working in the field of Community Development, especially in Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Promotion (WASH) is seeking dynamic and result-oriented candidates for an INGO funded WASH, Agriculture, Food Security and Livelihood (AFSL) integrated project. 

Post: WASH Officer

Duty Station: Bidur, Nuwakot and Field 

Job Type: Fixed term Contract

Salary: Negotiable 

Required Qualification and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Nursing
• Proven work experience of 2 years in similar field
• Basic computer skills
• Skill on training, facilitation and group mobilization
• Skill on motivation 
• Skill on communication and reporting 

Responsibilities 

• Prepare training schedule and conduct training on WASH/AFSL
• Assist to prepare appropriate IEC BCC materials for behavior change
• Prepare and conduct community level awareness activities on public health, WASH 
• External and internal coordination 
• Record keeping and report writing
