Restless Development, the youth-led development agency, is the global leader in engaging and supporting young people to address the most urgent issues affecting their lives, communities and countries.

Restless Development Nepalis implementing an exciting youth led programme, International Citizen Service (ICS) since 2011 where the youth from  UK are paired with the youth of Nepal and placed in rural communities to  have some development impact along with to gain the volunteers own personal development which will help them to be an active citizen.

We are recruitingenthusiastic and highly committed young people for the position of Volunteer Peer Educators (VPEs) and Volunteer Team Leaders (VTLs) based in rural communities in Sindhuli district working alongside with international volunteers.

Successful Candidates must:

·  Be aged 18 – 25 (18 - 28 for Team   Leaders)

·  Have minimum 10+2 education (graduate is preferred)

·  Be passionate to stay in the rural community in full cycle of programme;

For Volunteer Peer Educators (VPEs): January 2016 – March 2016

For Volunteer Team Leaders (VTLs)  : January 2016 - July 2016

·  Have aim to peruse their career in development sector

·   Interested to work in the emerging development priorities

·  Be fluent in English and Nepali language

·  Should be willing to work withrural school teachers and students, community people and government officials regardless of their race, caste, gender or political affiliation.

·  Consider themselves a good role model for the local youths and communities

Please Remember:

·  This is a pure volunteer service not a job, where you can learn and gain practical skills and hands on work experience of working in the development sector

·  Volunteers will be provided food and accommodation (in host family in the community)with nominal allowance during the placement period
