Trekking - Reservations Officer or Office Assistant

Looking for a career in the trekking industry?  We have a great opportunity for you.  iTREK Nepal is an international trekking company with offices in both USA and Nepal that is looking to expand its team.  We are currently based in Bhaktapur but will be relocating our office to Thamel within the next 6 months.  We are looking for a couple new team members that are passionate about trekking and want to be a part of a small dynamic company with growth opportunities.

We currently have two positions available with the following responsibilities -

Reservation Officer -

Understanding of reservation, booking, confirmation and reconfirmation of services 

Stage of booking and reconfirmation of services 

Quality of hotel understanding & categories of hotels available in area/region

Flight ticketing (domestic & International) 

Vehicle and transportation knowledge, 

Tour/Trek knowledge  

Knowledge of Jungle safari (National park knowledge) 

Knowledge of Paragliding, Zip flyer, Bungee jumping, Ultra flyer, 

Knowledge of mountain biking, Rafting (available in Nepal) 

Understanding of Airport domestic/international 

Telephonic clear conversation and coordination with people/suppliers on time 

Writing & speaking in English and Nepalese 

Filing & CRM system

Office Assistant -

Trek gears understanding and placement

Preparation of required trek gears to guest  

Office supplies quotation and placement

Bank Deposits

Trek equipments distribute and collection

Office assistance and Maintenance of office equipments

Riding motorbike and License holder
