Details / requirements:

Established in 1993, Nepali Technical Assistance Group (NTAG) is a national non-government and non-profit public health organization dedicated to improve the health and nutritional status of women and children of Nepal through sustainable development changes. NTAG is partner to SUAAHARA-II project and seeks to recruit Training Officers.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct orientation/training at the district, health facility and community levels;
  • Provide technical backstopping for conducting community level training;
  • Ensure that statutory training requirements are met;
  • Make monthly and quarterly training plan in coordination with training coordinator;
  • Coordinate with district and health facility members and other stakeholders in managing the delivery of training;
  • Evaluate training and development programs;
  • Amend and revise programs as necessary, in order to adapt to changes occurring in the work environment;
  • Assist training coordinator to solve specific training problems, either on a one-to-one basis or in groups; and
  • Design and develop IEC materials for training

 Knowledge and skills required:

  • A minimum of Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized university in nutrition/health with at least 1 year of training experience in health/nutrition sector.
  • Experience in working with district line agencies like: DHO/DPHO, DEO, DOAG, WDO, DDC, DAO etc.
