Supply Chain Optimization Specialist

Chemonics International, an implementing partner of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), seeks qualified candidates for the USAID Global Health Supply Chain (GHSC) - Procurement and Supply Management (PSM) project in Nepal. GHSC-PSM will serve as the primary vehicle through which USAID will procure and furnish health commodities, provide technical assistance to improve Nepal’s management of the supply chain, and collaborate with key international and local stakeholders to support U.S. government-funded public health initiatives in Nepal.

We are looking for a Supply Chain Optimization Specialist with at least 3 years of experience in supply chain management or warehousing and inventory management. The Supply Chain Optimization Specialist will assist in the development and implementation of activities and tools to improve warehousing, inventory management, transportation, and distribution at the regional, district and health post level and support monitoring and evaluation functions in gathering and reporting data. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

Job Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain management or warehousing and inventory management.
• Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in supply chain logistics.
• Proven problem solving and decision making skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communications skills.
• Proficiency in English and Nepali required.
