• Can build WordPress sites from scratch
• Can confidently edit PHP
• Excellent communication skills
• Solid HTML5 & CSS3 knowledge
• Ability to edit JavaScript and use JQuery to enhance page functionality
• Cross-browser and cross-device compatibility awareness
• Ability to use media queries to create effective responsive layouts that look great across all devices
• Desirable
• Experience with WooCommerce WordPress-based ecommerce system
• Familiarity with Boilerplate HTML5 frameworks such as Bootstrap
• Experience with implementing various JavaScript libraries
• Knowledge of domain management, web hosting and cpanel tasks including basic understanding of MySQL

Job Description

• Work closely with the design team to build web pages and full sites from scratch
• Manage and update our portfolio of client websites built with PHP-based CMS’s such as WordPress
• Ensure all web pages are built to a high W3C-compliant standard including maintaining clear, accessible code
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Confident in facing clients to scope-out projects and determine their needs
