Job Description:

The successful Global Solution Architect Lead—after demonstrating both technical competence and strong leadership capabilities—will be our primary candidate..

Your main responsibility will be to continue to advance all fronts of development in the company.

In this role you will coordinate and delegate tasks to both back-end and front-end developers as well as managing their day-to-day activities and productivity. You will lead by example by frequently providing hands-on technical solutions. 

You will determine the capabilities of individual team members including both their skill levels and availability for assignments. Since team members may have specialities such as networking, security, administration, data entry, software programming, web development or data testing, you must have the comprehensive technical knowledge and skills to guide all these professionals. You will be able to motivate your team while maintaining a friendly working environment.

While you are not expected to regularly program, you must be able to understand MVC architecture to find where the controller, models and view exist for particular code and be able to make simple edits, using programing syntax,  on an on-needed basis or delegate these responsibilities to developers.

Also, you must be fluent in the identification and implementation of API architecture and other 3rd party module/API integrations. You will be dealing directly with clients and must be very comfortable in assessing and articulating solutions.

You must have experience in the integration and deployment of custom applications utilizing Google API services and the Google Developer Console. The candidate embraces open source development, frameworks and technologies and must be always on look out to improve the existing architecture with the most upbeat and current technological stacks.

Global Solution Architect Lead duties include:

â—     Keep abreast of changes in the standards, technologies or methodologies

â—     Carry out administrative functions like creating job descriptions, interviewing candidates, budgeting and forecasting

â—     Participate in business presentations

â—     Provide domain expertise and effectively participate in development of business solutions

â—     Liaise with other teams to form strategies and implement product offerings

â—     Ensure software solutions meet business requirements and goals

â—     Understand programing complexities and be able to derive solutions

â—     Risk assessment and risk management

â—     Coach and mentor team members

â—     Conduct regular employee performance reviews

â—     Review employee and vendor assignments for accuracy and quality

â—     Effectively delegate responsibilities

â—     Coordinate application of software releases

â—     Develop and execute company technical policies
