Software QA Engineer

IntroCept is currently looking for a passionate, attentive and highly motivated technically focussed Software QA Engineer. The software Quality Assurance Engineer supports an agile team in analyzing, designing, building and testing high quality IntroCept Product Suite that meets and exceeds our customer expectations. Candidate Profile

• Should have 2+ years of working experience. Recommend to have 1 year as a software engineer and 1 year as a QA engineer.
• Experience with PHP and Javascript is expected. Any experience of Laravel and NodeJs will be helpful.
• Should demonstrate and automation mindset. If you need to do the things more than 2 times manually, you need to think how can I automate this.
• Should be able to write code and debug issues. This role is not about filing spreadsheet with test cases and doing just manual testing.
• Must have knowledge of web and mobile automation tools and frameworks.
• Recommended to have knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment.
• Expected to have knowledge of Agile and working in a scrum environment.

Requirements

• Automate the QA process and be able to write test code in all forms of tests from unit to functional.
• Perform end to end QA process, including the high level vision for a continually improving QA framework
• Develop QA standards and procedures by determining minimum requirements for production release, collecting data for test cases and establishing escalation guidelines for development teams
• Manage testing and release schedule by planning test cycles, tracking test results and informing development and testing teams of testing duties
• Use tracked test results to identify errors and iteratively improve on the QA process to preemptively eliminate future errors in coding practices
• Establish team metrics for measurement of quality and operational excellence and a create a consistent, regular process for assessment and improvement
• Establish a consistent release management framework and deliver high quality software, in rapid iterations, across our multiple product teams
• Analyse incoming features/work and work with software engineers and QA champions to create applicable test cases and define acceptance criteria
• Communicate proactively and preemptively with your key stakeholders, from senior management to the software engineers adopting your QA practices
• Be responsible for coaching, mentoring and developing engineers
