Software Engineer 

REQUIREMENTS

• Good communication skills in both spoken and written English.
• Skills in PHP and PHP frameworks such as Laravel, FatFree, Wordpress are preferable.
• Must have skills in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (like: jQuery, Regular Expression, Ajax) and front end frameworks; such as Knockout JS/Angular JS would be plus
• Skills in databases/servers such as MySQL and SQL Server is a must.
• Experience with any version control system such as: GIT/SVN would be preferred.
• Passionate about learning and self-motivated; drive to contribute ideas and share knowledge proactively; must be a team player.
• 4 plus years of software development experience.
• Prior experience with ecommerce platform (such as Big commerce, 3D Cart, shopify, Magento ) will be preferred.
• Familiarity with Agile methodology is a plus.
• Minimum Education: Bachelor’s Degree.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must be a self-starter:  we are the only company in Nepal currently working with this technology!
• Service installations and bug fixing/maintenance task on stores with various ecommerce platforms (Yahoo, BigCommerce, 3dCart, Magento, Volusion, MivaMerchant).
• Tracking-Code installations on e-commerce platforms.
• SEO content management on platforms (like: Yahoo, 3d-Cart, Magento, BigCommerce, Volusion, Miva Merchant).
• Reliably estimate time expectations and co-ordinate with other teams in the company for prioritization and related bugs and features.
• Excel under tight deadlines, and proactively communicate with team members and managers.
