Job Description:

Javra Software is seeking a Software Engineer (PHP) who is creative and innovative. You will be working in various internal and external projects with different level of complexities and challenges.

 Role and Responsibilities:

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • A solid understanding of PHP object oriented programming.
  • Build efficient, testable and reusable PHP modules
  • Work independently or as part of a team and make a positive impact
  • Take ownership of technical solutions from concept to final delivery
  • Troubleshooting, testing and maintaining the core product software and databases
  • Great understanding and experience with Subversion, and best practices for version control.
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
  • Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and best practices
  • Knowledge of best practices for cross-platform, cross-browser compatibility
  • Strong debugging skills and the ability to easily and quickly read and modifies
    code.

 Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor in Computer science, IT, software engineering, web development, programming or other subjects

 You are: 

  • Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks [Wordpress, Joomla etc depending on your technology stack]
  • Knowledge of and experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3 and AJAX Comfortable with object oriented programming methodologies.
  • Understanding of MVC design patterns
  • Engagement and ingenuity
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
