It works with a mission to enable Karnali people to claim and exercise their rights for poverty reduction and improved livelihoods through their organization, research, policy advocacy and judicious resources mobilization. It has been implementing various project/programs with the funding support of different partner organizations.

It works with a vision for a just and prosperous society with people having access to and ownership over resources and opportunities.

KIRDARC Nepal in partnership of WaterAid Nepal is implementing "Sustainable WASH Programme in Kalikot and Jumla district" with the aim to support in realization of WASH rights of the marginalized and people in vulnerable situations with access to improved water &sanitation facilities and practice of hygiene behaviorsso that they can lead a healthy and dignified lives. The project aims will use Human Right Based Approach to improve the access for the sustainable development. Thus, KIRDARC invites applications from interested candidates for the following full-time positions.

Social Technicians (ST)(Based in Kalikot and Jumla)- 2

Key Responsibilities:

This position will be responsible for overall implementation of program providing expertise in relation to Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH). Support team to implement effective intervention in relation to WASH, primarily through community participation.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Technical SLC (TSLC) from recognized Institution with at least 5 years experience in water, sanitation and hygiene promotion projects in rural mountain setting. Fluent in written and spoken Nepali with good understanding on English in both. Sound Knowledge in computer, data analysis and data management. Excellent communication and interpretation skills. Good Knowledge and experience of participatory development approach; Team Spirit; willingness and enthusiasm to stay and work with vulnerable communication living in rural and remote area of the district.Must have sound knowledge and experience on community mobilization.
