Job Position: Sales Support Officer

The Sales Support Officer is a back office role. S/he will be responsible for overall sales support administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the execution of sales support administration processes. Advice and support the sales support team on ways to improve their performance.
  • Prepare and oversee various types of pre-sales and/or post-sales proposal, quotations, contracts, correspondences, reports and meeting minutes.
  • Keep the track record of all the sales relevant information like, tender announcement/submission date, proposal opening date, contract effective/expiry date, client’s information, client’s complains/issues etc.
  • Handle incoming calls and correspondence, alerting reps to any urgent issues.
  • Assist in preparing, scheduling and organizing meetings, events and appointments. Oversee the necessary sales presentations by compiling data; developing presentation formats  and materials.
  • Analyze sales statistics gathered by staffs to determine sales potential and suggest sales process improvements.
  • Generate monthly/quarterly sales reports for discussion with the Head of the Department. Work closely with sales team and other relevant stakeholders to achieve growth and sales targets.
  • Maintain professional and job related knowledge by attending educational workshops; establishing personal networks etc.
  • Keep knowledge and skills up-to-date and contribute to innovation in sales support team.

Job Specification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in management stream or equivalent. Master’s Preferable.
  • Hands on experience in proposal and report writing.
  • Able to interpret sales metrics.
  • Able to handle team with limited supervision.
  • Highly motivated and result oriented with exceptional people skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skill (English & Nepali).
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel & Power-point.
  • Outspoken, flexible, cooperative and trustworthy.
