Mercy Corps Nepal works to build the absorptive, adaptive and transformative potential of vulnerable individuals and communities across Nepal. Mercy Corps began operations in Nepal in 2005, and since then has implemented projects in the sectors of economic and food security; climate, natural resource and disaster risk management; youth engagement; with the inclusion of women and disadvantaged groups as important cross-cutting themes throughout each intervention area.

Mercy Corps invites letter of interest from consultants/firms/institutes for consultancy service on conducting a financial needs assessment of carpet and pashmina industries in the Kathmandu Valley for European Commission funded SWITCH Asia Project. The objective of this consultancy service is to understand the level of financial awareness, needs and requirements of the carpet and Pashmina SMEs especially in the context adoption of environment-friendly Cleaner Production (CP) technologies and practices. The findings from this assignment will be the basis on which financial management trainings, modules and manuals will be prepared.
