About NLICC:

Established in 2017, Neo Lingua International Career Center (NLICC) is a company registered in Nepal that currently offers the UTS Insearch Academic English Program (ELICOS) to Nepalese students. NLICC is committed to adding more market relevant, high quality, university-accredited programs to its portfolio to. At present, we have one campus in Maharajgunj, Kathmandu and plan to expand to other major cities in Nepal in the near future.

Our prime focus is to make students ready for a university education in Australia and other countries by empowering them with the skills they need in English as well as preparing them for life as a student in institutions which have a native English academic environment.

Job Summary:

The Receptionist is the first point of contact and face of NLICC. The role of the receptionist is to welcome visitors and answer all queries in an effective and timely manner delivering a high level of customer service.  Whilst managing the front desk or reception, they will be interacting with potential students, admissions partners, and answering phone and email queries related to but not limited to NLICC, UTS Insearch and the ELICOS program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To ensure effective communication is maintained at NLICC by operating the telephone and utilising email
  • To answer incoming calls/messages, screen calls/messages as directed, take and deliver messages, respond to requests for information as appropriate and escalate complaints
  • Attend to all visitors entering the Office promptly and considerately and keep the reception areas clean and tidy at all times
  • Greet all students, staff and visitors in a polite, friendly, and professional manner
  • Co-ordinate safe entrance and exit of all students, staff and visitors, ensuring they are signed in and out and that no unauthorized person gains access
  • Assist in maintenance of leave record of all staff within NLICC
  • Liaise with caterers and function facilitators and attend to catering/hospitality requirements for NLICC during meetings or functions
  • Provide general clerical support to all members of NLICC including photocopying, preparing information packages, making travel arrangements, preparing travel acquittances, receiving inwards and dispatching outwards goods, liaising with couriers, and supporting the Facilities Co-Ordinator in maintaining stationery requirements for the Office
  • Produce correspondence, memos, letters, forms, contracts and other types of documents and complete data entry as required by senior members of the Office
  • Advise staff on procedures and manage processing of requests for new telephones and changes in telephone requirements

Candidate Profile:

  • Equivalent to graduation from high school and one year of office assistant or clerical work experience
  • Working Knowledge of MS Office Suite
  • Proficient in English
