Project Officers

Forum for Rural Welfare and Agricultural Reform for Development (FORWARD Nepal) is a national non-governmental organization working in the fields of agriculture, food and nutrition security, livelihoods, forestry, natural resource management, and climate change for the last 18 years. Currently, FORWARD Nepal is looking for some Project Officers for its projects. Interested energetic Nepalese citizens who meet the following criteria are requested to apply until 3rd August 2015. REQUIREMENTS/CRITERIA:

• B.Sc. in Agriculture with at least one year of work experience in the relevant field. Working knowledge on participatory research, crop production and livestock management system will be an added value. Those candidates with good team building capacity, presentation skills, innovative and hard-working qualities are encouraged to apply.
• The candidate should have ability in written and spoken English and Nepali, valid driving license for motorbike, and the selected candidate may have to be prepared to join FORWARD Nepal within a week of his/her selection and go to project districts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• The incumbent will be extensively involved in program planning, project implementation, supervision and monitoring of the projects, coordination and organizing meetings and workshops and reporting.
