The British Council is hiring a Project Officer for English and Digital for Girls’ Education in VSO’s Sisters for Sisters Project. This is to provide effective support for the implementation of the English and Digital for Girls’ Education (EDGE) component of VSO’s Sisters for Sisters Project in support of British Council’s global, regional and country strategies, and in line with the principles of DfID’s GEC Transition window (GEC-T), achieving quality outcomes, to time and budget 

EXPERIENCE:

Essential

  • 2 years’ experience of Project implementation in a multicultural international organisation

Desirable

  • Experience  working directly in girls’ education or gender issues.
  • Financial management at the project level.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential:

  • Bachelors’ degree in Education, management or Social  Sciences
