Human Rights and Environment Development Centre (HuRENDEC) Nepal, has been established in Kalikot and working in Karnali region since 2053. From the inception to till now, it has completed more than 30 projects and now it has 8 projects which have been running in Karnali region. The organization has  been working on need based action orientated multi-disciplinary areas through social mobilization especially focusing on Human Rights, Livelihood, micro enterprise, Lobby/Advocacy, empowerment, disaster management, Natural Resource Management and eco friendly infrastructure. 

HuRENDEC Nepal is going to launch the project "Sustainablle Utilization of Resources in Himalayan Region- Phase 2" in 4 districts (Kalikot, Mugu, Jajarkot and Humla) of province 6 with the support of BMZ/TDH Germany. For this, HuRENDEC Nepal invites application from result oriented and highly motivated Nepalese candidates for the following positions.

Project Coordinator 

Key Responsibilities: the position is required for its head office Kalikot with frequent field visits to the project districts and carried out a range of responsibilities in the areas of program planning, implementation, monitoring, coordination, reporting, and supervision. The incumbent will be mainly responsible for providing professional support to the supporting staffs and implementing partner in proper project implementation. In addition, s/he will be responsible for capacity enhancement of local partner organization, staffs and overall project management. 

Preferred Qualification: Masters Degree with 2 years' experience or Bachelor Degree with 5 years' relevant experience (Environment science or forestry background has been encouraged to apply for the post).Experience in environment sector, natural resource management, renewable energy, social mobilization, coordination and project cycle management, documentation and reporting is essential. Good inter personnel communication, facilitation, coordination and presentation skills are equally important.

Salary: NRs Gross 55,000/month 

Starting Date: As soon as possible
