Program Coordinator

Yuwalaya is a purely youth-led, non-profit, non-government organization working for and with youths and adolescents of Nepal. Yuwalaya is established by child club graduates and seeks to create platform for adolescents, youths and especially child clubs graduates aiming to encourage them to achieve its goals and objectives.

Yuwalaya is hiring a staff for the following position to execute its projects:

Job title: Program Coordinator

General job description

• Lead and deliver effective and efficient project implementation
• Manage budget and ensure expenses as per budget, organization’s financial management and donor compliance
• Coordinate and collaborate with CSOs, networks, government and donors
• Monitor project/s through regular field visits
• Lead, manage and supervise team members
• Compile periodic reports as required by the project
• Identify new opportunities and lead new proposal development
• Represent Yuwalaya in different forums, network and meetings
• Establish and maintain working relationship with like-minded youth organizations and network, other nongovernment and government organizations

Essential requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred: Master's in Development Studies/Social Work)
• Two-year proven experience in project management
• Proficiency in computer skills and English language
• Excellent communication, coordination and networking skills
• Proactive, team player and ability to work under pressure
• Committed to working with/on the issues of youth and adolescents

Duty station: Kathmandu with frequent field visits in different districts of Nepal

Working hours: Full time

Salary: As per the organizational policy and rules

Commencement: Urgent
