Program/Communication Officer

Tuki Association Sunkoshi is a non- governmental local organization working in Sindhupalchok district since 22 years in the field of Education, Health, Agriculture, Livelihood, Social protection and nutrition in collaboration with different partner organizations.

This organization has been implementing many programs coordinating and co- partnering with many partner organizations. Education for Hope is one of the programs implemented by Tuki. This project focuses in education. This program is funded by ChildFund Japan. At present Education for Hope Program is based in Thumpakhar; Tuki's Head Office needs qualified and experienced Nepali Citizen for the following position.

Position:  Program/Communication Officer (one) 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

• To take leading responsibilities in planning, implementing and monitoring of donor service communication.
• Proper recording of sponsored children, non-sponsored children and families’ information
• Maintaining, analyzing and management of their databases.
• Conduct workshop, interaction session and training on donor service and child sponsorship matter to the project staff, sponsored children/family, and community.
• Translation of Nepali to English and vice versa. 
• Instruct and coordinate project staff in donor service related matters to maintain donor service compliance. 
• Prepare case studies and ensure photo reporting of projects.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCES 

• Bachelor Degree in Social Science or in related field. 
• Good command of English and Nepali language both in written and verbal communication.
• Experiences in operating computer (Windows XP, Word & Excel) and email/internet. 
• Candidate having working experience in NGOs and/or child sponsorship program will be an advantage.
