Chemonics seeks a Professional Development Training Specialist for the anticipated USAID Nepal Public Financial Management Strengthening Project. This five-year program is expected to enhance the capacity of targeted government of Nepal (GON) ministries and agencies to improve transparency and accountability of public financial management systems. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world.

 

Responsibilities include:

 

·      Leading to design and impart financial public management training in the area of internal control, procurement, budget planning and execution, among others.

·      Taking responsibility for leading ‘Learning and Knowledge Management’ function in the PFMSP.

·      Designing and implementing cost- effective platforms with targeted outreach for knowledge-sharing and facilitating exchange in communities of practice. 

 

​Qualifications:

1.     Candidates must have a master’s degree with at least five years practical experience in designing and imparting training.

2.     Candidates must have prior experience in managing training component on above-mentioned area for the government officials.

3.     Candidates must have experience in the documentation of motivation and behavior change occurred and draws learning from the capacity building interventions.

4.     Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity.

5.     Excellent communication (written and oral) skills in English and Nepali languages.
