National level Technical Advisor (NTA) - 1 and District level Technical Advisor (DTA) - 5

VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

Restless Development, the youth-led development agency, has been the global leader in engaging and supporting young people to address the most urgent issues affecting their lives, communities and countries since 1985. Currently, Restless Development Nepal is working in formal partnership with Ministry of Youth and Sports and multiple bilateral organizations.

Restless Development Nepal is looking for highly motivated and dynamic individuals to work in an interim position URGENTLY;

1) National level Technical Advisor (NTA) – 1 Position

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with District Technical Advisor (DTA)
• Provide timely and accurate report to the line manager
• Support Programme Manager to lead the emergency response projects in the districts
• Monitor the project implementation and budget expenditure
• Capacity building to the partner NGO staff in relation to the emergency response project
• Participate in national and district cluster meeting and update the progress
• Work in close coordination with the government authorities
• 80% field visit required  

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in social sciences or other relevant studies
• 4 years’ experience in project implementation
• Experience in a post disaster project is an advantage
• Belief in the values of Restless Development and ability to uphold them personally.

2) District level Technical Advisor (DTA) – 5 positions (Dolakha, Kathmandu, Lalitpur, Ramechhap, Rasuwa)

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and facilitate the emergency response project in the respective districts
• Prepare report and submit to the line manager
• Monitor the programme implementation in local level
• Participate and support to district education office and district development partners meetings
• Work in the coordination with the partner NGO in the district
• Monitor the approved budget
• Conduct field visit to  VDCs to ensure the programme quality
• Liaise with partners at district level and other cluster partners  

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in social science or other relevant studies
• 2 years’ experience in project implementation
• Experience in a post disaster project is an advantage  
• Belief in the values of Restless Development and ability to uphold them personally.
