Social Service Centre (SOSEC) Nepal is an NGO dedicated to Human Rights, Peace Building and Integrated Rural Development in the Dailekh district. It works with a mission to enable marginalized people. SOSEC is going to implement integrated project (Education/Child protection/Child Rights governance and health) partnering with Save the Children in funding support of NORAD in Dailekh district. For this, we seek application from competent and self-motivated Nepali citizen for the following positions. All the positions are based in Dailekh.
Post: Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability & Learning (MEAL) Officer – 1

DUTY STATION: Dailekh District head office with frequent field visits to project VDCs/sites in Dailekh district.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Science or any related discipline.
- At least 3 years experience in the field of M&E.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Nepali.
- Ability to work in a team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience in organizing and facilitating training will be preferred.
- Good knowledge of computer applications with the ability to produce reports both in Nepali and English.
RESPONSIBILITY:
- Support coordination of needs assessments in coordination other external sector agencies, ensuring assessment findings are documented and include an analysis of children’s needs. Lead development of SC program baseline surveys where required.
- Working with senior colleagues, plans, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks and plans.
- Support in the development of MEAL systems and their roll out to field staff.
- Support planning, implementation and follow-up of evaluations and Participate in evaluations where required.
- Set up simple systems to manage information generated by MEAL activities, such as complaints databases.
- Field visit for assurance of quality implementation of project.
- Conduct simple data analysis and present and disseminate information to inform program.
- With support from the MEAL Adviser and/or other senior program staff, identify MEAL supply needs and coordinate with the logistics team to ensure materials arrive in good time.
