CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases, poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS started its operational presence in Nepal in response to the 2015 earthquake, providing immediate emergency response in multiple districts and earthquake recovery support. CRS Nepal has been coordinating the reconstruction through the leadership of the National Housing and Settlements Resiliency Platform (NHSRP), formally known as Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) since March 2017 to provide technical and information management support to relevant national, provincial and local governments. Similarly, CRS expanded its programming to other disasters responses (Lamjung, Jajarkot) in country as well as other sectors, namely Livelihoods, DRR and Climate Change. CRS Nepal is also implementing a USAID-financed livelihood technical assistance program, Farmer to Farmer (F2F), in Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

CRS Nepal implements earthquake recovery and resilience programming in Gorkha and Okhaldhunga districts to provide technical support for reconstruction of earthquake resilient houses, livelihood recovery and WASH. The Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) is led by CRS Nepal, and other financial contributors and INGOs.

CRS Nepal invites applications from interested Nepalese citizens for the following position:

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Manager (1 Position-Based in Kathmandu): Master’s Degree in Economics / Development or Social Studies / Statistics, or related field & experience with a minimum of 3-5 years of managerial experience with an NGO, preferably within an INGO with MEAL responsibilities. Excellent written and oral English and local language. Excellent data management (collection, entry, analysis and visualization) skills in Microsoft Excel, Access, or similar platforms. Familiarity with analysis software such as SPSS, STATA, EpiInfo, etc. is a plus.Preference for ICT4MEAL experience. Demonstrated experience developing qualitative and quantitative tools and the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative data.
