CRS Nepal

CRS is an international NGO based in the United States that works in over 100 countries to promote human development by responding to major emergencies, fighting diseases, poverty, and nurturing peaceful and just societies. CRS started its operational presence in Nepal in response to the 2015 earthquake, providing immediate emergency response in multiple districts and earthquake recovery support. CRS Nepal has been coordinating the reconstruction through the leadership of the National Housing and Settlements Resiliency Platform (NHSRP), formally known as Housing Recovery and Reconstruction Platform (HRRP) since March 2017 to provide technical and information management support to relevant national, provincial and local governments. Similarly, CRS expanded its programming to other disasters responses (Lamjung, Jajarkot) in country as well as other sectors, namely Livelihoods, DRR and Climate Change. CRS Nepal is also implementing a USAID-financed livelihood technical assistance program, Farmer to Farmer (F2F), in Bagmati, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) Coordinator (1 Position-Based Kathmandu):

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years’ progressively responsible experience in MEAL, University degree in international development, economics, statistics or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple tasks among various staff and departments. Excellent knowledge of standard computer programs and ICT4D approaches and tools.  Ability to facilitate workshops, make presentations, and conduct trainings of MEAL topics for specialists and non-specialists.
